UBL Explainer is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Use of the tool is at your own risk.
Not an official Peppol validator
UBL Explainer is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with OpenPeppol and does not provide official Peppol certification. The browser-based checks help you spot common issues but are not a substitute for validation by a certified Peppol access point.
Not legal, tax or accounting advice
Nothing on this site constitutes legal, tax or accounting advice. Always verify your invoices against the official UBL 2.x specification, EN 16931, the Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 specification, your access-point provider and your own advisors.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the correctness of any invoice you send to your customers, tax authority or Peppol access point. UBL Explainer cannot guarantee that an invoice that passes its checks will be accepted by every downstream system.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UBL Explainer and its authors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site.
